Finally home
For those who don't know, I spent my first days with Kelly and Amanda on the west coast, on the east coast. We flew out here Sunday and less than 24 hours later, I flew to back east to Atlanta for three days.
If my career ever takes us to Atlanta, we'd survive, but barely. I was so relieved to get back to the desert where, ironically, there is no water shortage problem (currently). Atlanta is drying up. They are 15 inches short of rain for 2007. That's a lot of rain to not have. Plus, they are Southerners there. If you don't know what I mean, then good for you. Keep it that way and stay up north or out west.
Life is good in the desert. Kelly has been to a special events planner's association luncheon and has several local non-profits courting her skills.
