Chopsticks

We had a great time today. We looked at existing houses with our Realtor, Janet, who we love. We're having Thanksgiving dinner at Janet and Scott's house.

On the way there, we saw a baloon in the desert.

One place we really liked was only a mile from work. It also had this palm tree.

It had a bunch of roses and an apple tree in the back yard.

We went to Gold Fish, a sushi place for lunch on Janet's recommendation. Kelly learned how to eat with chopsticks and even tried a piece of double tuna roll. Kelly had chicken teriaki and was even eating the rice with chopsticks by the end of the meal.

House is cute. Apple tree sounds quaint. What kind were they? Glad to hear you have plans for next Thursday. Will be thinking of you!
Take care and have a good rest of the weekend. Glad you posted again too, we were going into withdrawal!

Balloons in the desert.....I miss that! When mom(Aunt Cherie) lived in AZ and I visited, I loved waking in the a.m. to see the balloons take off. I even remember "road tripping" to find where they landed. Jealous? YOU BET I AM, as I sit in my wood stove heated living room typing! Temps last night dipped to a first time recorded at the "G" house this season.........28.4!!! (I wasn't able to view the video, so I'll have to figure out what I need to do to correct that one.)

Ahhhh....realtors. They're your best friend, aren't they? I remember when we bought our house in "K". We moved in on Thanksgiving day...something I'll always remember. Moving from Roch to Kendall, with the closest supermarket 13 miles away. At that time, Tops hadn't stepped up to the 24-hour plate. So, as we unpacked our first load in the u-haul, night was settling. Michael went to the store to get tv dinners, as our stove wasn't being delivered until Friday. Got to Tops and they were C-L-O-S-E-D!! So, a trip to Wegmans in B'port was next. As I sat here, alone for the first time in my house in the woods, I was beginning to wonder where he was (an hour and a half later). Knowing my cell didn't work out here (before the cell tower), there was no contact possible (also, being "delivered" on Friday). FINALLY, he returned with turkey tv dinners in honor of Thanksgiving.

Ok, back to the realtors....we put in our purchase offer on Tuesday night (the night after Columbus Day). We arrived at their house right from work. They ordered pizza for us for dinner and 3 hours later, we had our "bantering" done.

Enjoy house hunting and please keep us posted. What great stories house hunters have...."Too big" "Too small" "Perfect except"....

Thanksgiving in 60 is the most stressful hour of television ever filmed. Kelly and Amanda totally have that disapproving look for me all the time.
