She's changed

I'm back home (Chuck).

You people wouldn't even know her anymore. I caught her on the way to rehab, or on the way back from rehab, who knows. Californian women are complex.

It wasn't easy to get these photos, but they should pay off.

They'd pay off even more if she were pregnant.

    No pressure, of course.

And did you see the haphazard way she is holding Amanda. She is clearly a bad kitty mom and that cat should be taken away from her.

No snow day for me! As a matter of fact, its still a mess by my house - which is why I'm at work at 5 am.

Still no power. Filling the generator every 4 hours. Just used my blow dryer in my office. Utility trucks woke me up at 3:30 (I was all kinds of excited!) but it turns out they were only dropping off the poles. FYI for you CA people, we have 4 poles down in a row.

But, it could be much worse. At least we were smart enough to hard wire the generator from the barn when we first moved in! : )

I knew we'd pay for the 67 degree weather in January.

One key detail is what exactly brought poles down. Wind alone, wind taking a tree that took the poles? Don't be so mysterious when yuo tell us about what's going on there, this is a two-way communication tool.

Ok, the author of "Happiness is..." can not possibly accuse ME of being mysterious!

Anyway, it was massive wind alone, coupled with the fact that the ground is extremely saturated right now. They pretty much just tipped themselves right over and then followed each other down.

I'm told that they are working on the lines right now - THANK GOD!!!
