Vacation
I know I just had a week and a half mostly off over Christmas, but the past few weeks have been really hectic. I'm still learning a new job and I was in North Texas longer than anyone should have to be for most of that time. So anyway, I've earned a week off and it started tonight.
Adrienne arrived at about 6:30 pm. We had tacos, margaritas, and conversation until almost midnight (Adrienne had been up for 23 hours by then, since she had to get up at 3-something Eastern time). She flew from Rochester to NY, to Las Vegas, then drove across the desert to beautiful Lancaster, CA.
More adventures tomorrow, I think we'll find a good beach to be on and maybe some other stuff. And then we have MORE visitors tomorrow night too and another trip to Disneyland, a trip to Burbank, and some surprises, so stay tuned!
