OMG! We’re going to visit H, J, & K and I have so much to do before we leave!

A Post by Kelly

  1. See Chuck off to work:
    1. Iron clothes for today.
    2. Pack lunch.  Use last night’s leftovers from Indian restaurant.
    3. Make breakfast.  Use leftover sesame seeded Italian bread that Chuck hates for toast—if he complains, remind him he can get his own damn self ready for work.
    4. Locate belt.  Question why his belt always goes missing.
    5. Start truck with remote starter because you can.
    6. Verify that Chuck put on deodorant.
    7. Kiss Chuck good bye.
  2. Play with the kitty.
  3. Process three loads of laundry.
    1. Work clothes
    2. Unmentionables
    3. Whites
  4. Play with the kitty.
  5. Unload dishwasher, reload dishwasher, and run dishwasher.
  6. Play with the kitty.
  7. Put hold on newspaper for the weekend.
  8. Play with the kitty.
  9. Clean out litter box.
  10. Play with the kitty.
  11. Fill Amanda’s food dish with enough food for the weekend.
  12. Play with the kitty.
  13. Call about taxes.
  14. Play with kitty.
  15. Go to store and pick up snacks for our trip.
    1. Cookies
    2. Snack mix
    3. Vitamin water
    4. Bubble water
  16. Play with the kitty.
  17. Go to the bank.
  18. Play with kitty.
  19. Wrap gift for K.
  20. Play with the kitty.
  21. Pack.  Don’t forget:
    1. Audio books
    2. Gift for K
    3. Swimsuits
    4. Directions
    5. Cell phone chargers
  22. Play with the kitty.

  28. Play with the kitty.
  29. Yoga.
  30. Play with the kitty.
  31. Take out garbage.
  32. Pay special attention to Amanda, since we’ll be gone for a couple days.

Since I don't know these folks, I'm clueless about the destination city. Can you reveal? My hobby is living vicariously through other people's travels.
(Although since we're going to Miami on Monday, perhaps I should the day off from my hobby.)
    Anyways, pleasant travels!

Heather, Jeffrey ( http://blatherings.demandingrobot.com/ ), and LBSS (Little Baby Somthin' Somethin'(AKA K)) are in Petaluma for the weekend, which is north of San Francisco (Serencisco). We have yet to meet LBSS, so we're rather excited, plus, I think we will have beat Adrienne ( http://www.watat.com/ )and Tammy in seeing LBSS first, which makes it way sweeter.

Well, you beat me, and you better bet I'm WAY jealous, but Tammy beat us all. She went to NYC a couple weeks ago, the stinker. Give K an extra pinch for me.

Kelly - I know I've hinted to this before, but now I'm flat-out asking:

    Will you marry me??

Ok, for all of you who know me...yes, I realize that I'm a girl too and that I'm already married and that, yes, Kelly is my sister in-law, but c'mon!!! Do you all *realize* how great Chuck's got it?? Can you blame me for wanting her as my own wife?

Oh, and I don't wear a belt. Ever.

Does this sweeten the deal any?

OK, so can we finally agree that Kelly and JJ have waaaaay tooo much time on their hands?

I recommend volunteer work for both of them, maybe on suicide hotline!

If that doesn't work, serious therapy for both of them.

One of these days I'm going to post a "Cast of Characters" entry for everyone who only have this blog in common to figure out who everyone is. Kim is a former colleague of mine and fellow farm-kid-turned-corporate-drone. She is in fact far too inteligent for this blog, but we welcome anyone who can raise the average IQ here at Howdaddy Central.
