Finally! Internet in my own house!
You know, for me, this is the first time I've ever unpacked with the intention of staying for more than six months to a year. Liverpool 1.0 was supposed to be for only six months (it lasted two years though) Liverpool 2.0 was suposed to be just a year, it lasted two and a half years. And Anetlope Valley 1.0 was supposed to be a year, but only lasted six months.
So now you're thinking, "how long will they stay at Antelope Valley 2.0?" Well, first of all, this is such a drastic departure from all the previous places that we have ever lived that it gets it's own name.

She wasn't too sure about the new diggs at first, I'll have to post the videos later, YouTube lost the good ones and I'm too tired to find out where they are.
We're not ready for Wakkthrough 2.0 yet, we're still unpacking some, but you'd be really impressed. Actually it's only only the garage and the spare bedrooms that still have unpacked items. Okay, maybe a night walkthrough of the main rooms. Just don't tell Kelly I did this.

I agree about the litter box, it's destined for the downstairs washroom (where I don't have to carry litter up and down the stairs) but seriously, it's a rather brilliant spotif the cat's going to poo upstairs near the carpet, don't you think?

Is the fireplace real wood or gas, aka "fake fire"?

The fireplace is capable of either, but it's set up for gas only now. I think we'll keep it that way until fall, then I'll have the starter element, so I can have wood fires but start them with the gas. Right now wood would be too much hassle with all the other chaos. But it's been COLD overnight and the fires have been nice.
