Home with Hart
So we made it back to NY without incident. Except that Melissa Joan Hart was on the plane from Burbank to JFK with us. I was proud of our fellow passengers, none of whom made any visible fuss over her.
She had a middle seat and was asleep with her mouth wide open when I got up to go to the bathroom just west of Chicago. Kelly and I agreed she's about twice as adorable in person, what with the freckles and the impossibly blue eyes, so I'd be very disappointed if anyone snapped a photo. She's always seemed a little sweet and gave us no reason to think otherwise.
We made all our connections and everything on time. JFK is a bit of a microcosm of NYC, without any of the good parts. It's dirty, overcrowded, hot, humid, expensive, and everything smells a little like urine. At least while you're in the terminal, there are no beggars.

I've spent so much time in the Jet Blue terminal at JFK that I always feel kind of at home. I suppose that's sad.
Glad y'all are here safe. It will make dinner that much more fun.

I suppose this is somewhat a comment on how slow business life is in Buffalo that today's News had an article about the new Jet Blue terminal at JFK that will be open soon.

This ought to make all of you who fly that airline much happier with your connections.

I heard on the radio that Buffalo is officially the fastest dying city in the US, not that it's a surprise. The rest of Upstate can't be too far behind. Parker Posey is cooler even than Melissa Joan Hart. Kelly saw some guy who just made a movie, but neither of us have commited his name to memory. He was trying to flirt with her at the baggage claim, and Andy Dick was ordering food at Panda Express the last time she got back to Burbank from a business trip. Parker Posey beats all of them.

Andy Dick is just disturbing.
I also read the other day that Buffalo is on the list of Forbes top ten Fastest Dying American Cities. Of course, the current mayor disagrees. How surprising.

Also, I saw Parker Posey dancing to what I think might have been "Manic Monday" by the Banlges today at The Container Store. I'm just saying.
